Martin Fowler: Closures

Martin Fowler has written what's probably the best explanation of closures ever. I came across this a few days ago and passed up blogging it, but I've changed my mind.

Yup, it's good alright. But it's a pity he doesn't give JavaScript its due recognition for popularising them as much as it did.
