Testing. See this. Update: Also see this. Opera seems to be the best at this on Windows. Firefox displays the funky URL in the status bar but displays the encoded URL in the address bar. Opera displays the funky URL in the address bar as well.

Anyway, it seems like I'm handling all this exactly correctly.
