I want a better aggregator!

Not to be disparaging, but it seems like Dmitry has slowed development on Syndirella. As I add more feeds, it's getting harder and harder to find things... I could really use some categories

Do you run your own software? It's not that hard to add your own search engine, with a little PHP and databasing..

I used to run my own web-based aggregator, but I switched to Syndirella. A desktop-based agreggator is much more convenient.

Ah, it doesn't do caching and searching? Shame.

I don't mind web reading myself, so I just have a (desktop-based) ticker with the few most recent entries from feeds I like.
