Wow, the only thing I keep thinking while watching the Oscars is how everyone thinks the movie industry is God's gift to the world. The whole thing is so self-important. At least that's what I got from the beginning of the show. I'm sure not everyone in Hollywood thinks that way.

Hey, I'm finally getting around to implementing the Blogger API for my weblog. I'll probably wind up throwing the MetaWeblogAPI in there for good measure. I finally decided that I was tired of waiting for me to finish my XML parser, so I simply downloaded usefulinc's XML-RPC library for PHP from SourceForge and got to work. Easy.

Like I said before, I'm going to write the Blogger API and the MetaWeblogAPI on top of my own API; one that fits my blog better than the other ones do. Of course, after I finish it I'll probably publish the public part of the interface here. Right now I have getEntry(id), saveEntry(struct with the entry text, id, etc. in it), and getEntriesForDate(date). I can't think of anything else I really need right now... can you?
