Ah... Linux drives me crazy. I can't find a text editor that I'd use. If I could only find a text editor... roar. I just spent awhile trying to use Kate, which had a bug that made it crash. Still, there are no editors that let you open a file over FTP. Is there something built into Linux that I don't know about that'll let me treat a file on an FTP site like a local file? Can Konqueror do that? Grr... I'm going to bed. How frustrating... this all started after the beta of EditPlus that I'm beta testing crashed on me a few times. Like Joel said, the little frustrations add up.

Well, I didn't go to bed Turns out there's something built into Vim that they don't tell you about where you can just basically say "open ftp://blahblah/www/index.php" and it'll seamlessly use FTP for you. Finally! Time to learn Vim.
